The cheapest of all the accommodations that I stayed in Okinawa. Yet, it is one of the best hotels I ever booked.
The Beach Hotel does not locate near anywhere at the American Village. It is at the residential area. If you are not driving for your trip, I do not recommend booking this hotel as it was quite far away from the American Village. Otherwise, this got to be your consideration in staying around American Village.
Hotel Room
Very big. It actually got the third bed available if you need it. Washing machine and electronic stove are also available. The hotel is near the Air Force base, therefore Air fighter will fly pass, creating a very loud voice in the day. Nonetheless, the flight stop at night. It is VERY quiet at night.
Respect the Japanese culture to take out your shoes before getting in the room.

Seaside is just right beside the hotel within 1 minute walk. Remember to arrange a time for a sunset. Highly recommended.
Car Park Location
There are two car parks available. The staff told us that we can try a free car park located just a street away. Another option will be the hotel reserved car park which costs 1000yen, just some seconds away from the hotel.
We tried getting the free one but it was full. So we got the hotel one instead. The staff will give you the number slot for parking.
Food Nearby
I recommend getting dinner at American village as there will be more options.
It’s hard to get breakfast early in the morning. The only place ready for breakfast opens at 10am – Hamaya (浜屋). Around 10 – 15 mins walking distance. It should be the earliest store you can get for breakfast, the food is surprisingly good.

If you have not tried the vending machine ordering before, here it’s how it goes.
Customer will click the food and insert the money. Get the order ticket at the bottom and find a seat. The staff will come and get the ticket from you later.

Hamaya (浜屋) – is strongly recommended for the breakfast pick of the day.
Convenient Store Nearby
The nearest one you can go is the FamilyMart Kadena Air Base Gate 1 (ファミリーマート 嘉手納第一ゲート前店). It’s around 3 mins ride from the hotel. I drove over there in the middle of the night for supper (again).
Counter closing time
Staff off work at 10pm. There is only one key for your room. You need to make sure you have the key if you go off for supper.
Room booking
Agoda got me the lowest price for this hotel this time. Recently I heard a lot of complaint about automatic cancelation of Agoda. In fact, I used to book quite a number of hotels in the past using Agoda.
Upon successful booking from Agoda, 7 days before check in, there will be a message sent from the hotel asking what time you will be checking in. I recommend to send an email or message to the hotel you have booked from Agoda few days before check-in.
