Everything starts anew in Spring, and so as our new year ahead. Looking at flowers will bloom your mind, giving you positive emotion.
Looking at a sea of flowers is always one of my Spring journey arrangement. There are number of places that can visit for flower-seeing. Here, Dongguan, China is one of the places I have visited looking at huge area of flowers blooming inside the town – rapseed flower
Location: Dongguan Qiaotou Town (東莞橋頭鎮)
Best Period: early to mid of Feb, depending on temperature.
Dongguan locate at North part of ShenZhen, South part of GuanZhou. It took around 1hr – 1hr 30 mins to reach the town from ShenZhen. If you are planning to travel to ShenZhen or GuanZhou in February or even if you will be travelling to Hong Kong in this period, you may consider planning to the place.

Best Place For Viewing:
Not just a sea of flowers but also a sea of faces, on the bridge. It’s best to view on the other side of the bridge area.
Transportation:
High Speed Train
From Hong Kong to Dongguan East station, and take a public bus or taxi to the town. But the town is still a bit far away from the Dongguan East station.
Tour Bus
Transportation bus terminal located at Lo Wu Station have several arrangements to Dongguan, then take another bus to Qiaotou Town.
It used to have direct bus to and from Lo Wu Station. However, arrangement may have changed. You will need to check the schedule over there if there is still bus to Qiaotou Town.
