The main reason why Hong Kong Authorized Official Bridgestone is not always sold, is pricing.💰💰
Honestly speaking, traditional agent business model uses economies of scale as business model.
With Bridgestone agent has its own store 🏬, there is no worries on its stock being unsold. As for me, I can’t work on economies of scale without purchasing stocks.

Hong Kong market does not restrict parallel imported to be sold. With the same manufacturing places, it is not specially attractive to get Authorized Official Bridgestone . With parallel imported cheaper than a few hundred, it’s difficult to persuade vehicle owners to install Authorized Official.
Retail store keep lots of Authorized Official, but competitors nearby sell parallel imported that is much cheaper. With HK 700k market share shrinking, and too many sizes for different vehicles, it’s hard to sell.
🐯 no longer shows manufacturing place. It’s hard to compare. (Possibly made in China Potenza Sport). However, it got Michelin stocks that is made in Thailand. (FB mentioned about different manufacturing places may give different performance)
In sum, Bridgestone Potenza Sport, made in Europe, the parallel imported wins
