Authorized Official Michelin in HK is another one that I seldom get to sell, with 💰Pricing💰 again the issue.
Besides economies of scale，almost all retail stores sell Michelin tires. There is no way to market position in pricing. (Tyrehood, me, is never about low price for market positioning)
Michelin sole agent has a long history in Hong Kon🏬. Michelin has its office locate in HK to support, Michelin sole agent has never scared of parallel imported tire pricing.

🚗 225/40 R18 Michelin PS5 :

Parallel Imported pricing for 18″ and below is definitely the best pricing available. With its manufacture place in Europe, its hard to find any Authorized Official e.g. Continental, Bridgestone to compete with it. Afterall, it is made in Europe.
Possibly only Kumho PS72 with its promotion can compete with the current PS5, in terms of pricing.

R19 and above pricing is double of R18. It’s undoubted that many EV vehicle owners such as Tesla Model Y，KIA EV6，Benz EQA， EQB，BMW ix1，ix3 and more, which has never installed R19 before got shocked by such pricing when request Michelin quote.
Let’s look at R20 pricing as well.

Pricing does not look like it increases drastically. However, the width of tire also affect tire price. e.g. 275/45 R18 is definitely more expensive than 225/40 R18. (possibly another 0.5 times more)
