Kenda was founded in 1962 in Yuanlin, Taiwan, manufacturing bicycle tires at first. Then it started developing
motorcycle, scooter tires and other vehicle tires. It was listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange and
opened up a factory in Shenzhen in 1990, and a year later, it established a USA company in Columbus, Ohio.
Expansion throughout the years by opening up more factories in China and Vietnam, and comapnies in the U.S,
Kenda acquired Martin Wheel Company (in the U.S) in 1998, and only in 2001 that Kenda has started offering
passenger can tires.

There are mainly two models, KR30, and KR400 for Kenda tire in Hong Kong. Racing tire is also available for a particular size.
Besides, light goods vehicles tires are available for commonly known sizes. All Kenda tires are made in Taiwan.
The authorized official Kenda tires does not have sole agent distributor label pasted on the brand new tire.
There is no clear indicator to differentiate the authorized one from the parallel imported one at the moment.
