1. Are all the tyres on the website are authorized official goods?

Yes. Tyres listed on Tyrehood website are supplied by the authorized sole agent of the brand.

2. Is the list a complete set of products available at Tyrehood?

No. Due to some limitation, we are unable to put all the brands and models on our website. Brands such as Pirelli and Continental require further confirmation from the suppliers. Nevertheless, we will try to get as much information and post it online.

3. Can I order the model which is not listed on the website?

Besides what is mentioned in Q2, yes, you can make an order but it will take at least 3 months of delivery to Hong Kong, and only some brands such as Continental, Yokohama, Sailun will have a shorter period of delivery.

4. Is the price include installation?

Yes. All price listed on the our website include installation AND wheel balancing.

5. Where can I install the tyres after purchase?

Fanling only (at the moment).

6. Do I need to register before making the payment?

No.

7. How do I make the payment?

You can add the product to your shopping cart, check out and using credit card via paypal to make the payment. If you wanted the cash payment discount, you can capscreen the product and whatsapp to +852 5113 0668 (Jimmy Chung) to make the payment.

8. Will there be discount given?

You can download our Tyrehood Zone application (Android and iOS available), register as member and obtain the $100 cash coupon* for purchasing 4 tyres. *Terms and conditions applied. Please check the terms and conditions on the application.

9. Are all the tyres brand new?

Yes. To repeat once more, all tyres sold on Tyrehood web is Authorized Official Good, Brand New, Price included installation and wheel balancing. Installation is at Fanling.

10. When can I install after payment?

One working day after Tyrehood receive your payment.

11. Is it a must to make a payment first before coming over for installation?

A few of the sizes maybe in stock at our store, but most will require payment first before Tyrehood will get the tyres for you.

12. I am not sure what are the tyre sizes that my vehicle is using, what do I do?

Download our Tyrehood Zone Application and register as member. There is a section where Tyrehood has put up the basic tyre knowledge for your reference. You can also check out our blog here for very brief information about the tyre. If you are still unsure, capture the image of your tyres you are using, and whatsapp to +852 5113 0668 for confirmation before purchasing at Tyrehood.

13. Can I change the tyres after purchase?

No, unless the supplier fails to deliver the goods (which happen quite a number of times for one particular brand previously).

14. Can I get a refund after purhcase?

No, unless the supplier fails to deliver the goods.

15. Can I ask Tyrehood for confirmation for changing rim specification?

No, unless you come to our store directly to make a payment first, we will not provide any information on your rim change specification.

16. Can I ask Tyrehood for tyres enquiries which I have made in another store?

No. Once again, Tyrehood is not a sole agent of any of the tyre brands, we do not have any information regarding the tyres you have purchased at other stores. You should approach either the sole agent of the brand for enquiry, or the retail store that you have purchased. Even if you provide information to us, we will not comment on anything as it is not Tyrehood sales service. Tyrehood do not hold any responsibility on your purchase in other stores. Additionally, Tyrehood has no idea what sort of products that other retail stores sell to you.

17. Can I ask Tyrehood for other vehicle issues?

No. You should direct your questions to other guarage for issues such as windscreen crack and suspension changes.

18. Does Tyrehood have wheel alignment service?

No. Wheel alignment service is another service, which is provided by another guarage. You can enquire for the price if you are interested to use the service.

19. Can Tyrehood go on-site for tyre changes after payment?

No. And once again, all products sold on the web require you to come over to Fanling store for service. If you wanted a on-site change, there is an extra payment for installation.

20. Can I enquire Tyrehood for second hand tyre purchase?

Yes. But we rarely sell second hand tyres actually. You can call or whatsapp us for more detail.

21. Does Tyrehood sell parallel imported goods?

Yes. But we do not put any price and models on the website. Whatsapp +852 5113 0668 and state that you wanted to find out the price of parallel imported goods.

22. What do I do if I cannot access to Tyrehood website?

Take the screenshot and whatsapp +852 5113 0668 for enquiry.

23. Can I just whatsapp to ask all or other products available?

No, unless the size that you are looking for is not listed on the website or only a few products available.

24. Does Tyrehood sell motorcycle tyre and bicycle tyre?

No. But Tyrehood is actually interested in selling motorcycle tyre and bicycle tyre. If you are motorcycle tyre suppliers, or bicycle tyres supplier, feel free to contact Jimmy Chung +852 5113 0668 to discuss partnership.

25. Does Tyrehood sell spare tyre?

No. In fact, you cannot find any brand new spare tyre, specifially those slim type of spare tyre.

26. Does Tyrehood sell car battery?

Yes. Please go to www.tyrehood.com/en/car-battery.php for detail. (More searching criteria coming up soon)

27. Does car battery differentiate into Authorized Official Goods and parallel imported goods?

No.

28. Does Tyrehood have stock for car battery at the store?

Not all of them. Please enquire for detail. It is best to pre-order.

29. How do I access all of Tyrehood Zone functions?

Some of the functions require to be Tyrehood customers, upon purchase at least 4 tyres(pre-order, and do not request removal of zinc before wheel balancing), and/or one car battery (include installation). The purchase of automotive battery is required to be listed on Tyrehood website. (except for some vehicle models and customers). Jimmy Chung reserves the right to allow users to access all the functions.

30. Can I access all of the Tyrehood Zone function if I directly purchase at Tyrehood store without pre-order?

No. Simply speaking, you need to pre order via 5113 0668. Purchase and install at Tyrehood store directly will be seen as request of removal of old zinc before wheel balancing.

31. If I just change a car battery, can I still use all of the Tyrehood Zone functions?

No. Please refer to Q29.

32. Achieving the conditions of Q29, do I permanently use all the Tyrehood Zone functions?

No. You will have 3 years of access. Extension may be given depends on the situations.

33. Tyrehood Service is only as retail service

Automotive industry is classified as tyre and batteries (aka tyre retail store), repair (aka garage), and car detailing. Tyrehood is a tyre retail store, therefore we do not provide other services such as oil changing.

34. Particular automotive inspection

Since Tyrehood is not a garage (see point 33 for definition), Tyrehood do not provide any vehicle inspection service. However, some inpsection could still be done such as battery inspection. These inpsections require to be Tyrehood customers who purchased at least two tyres (and did not request any zinc removal) and battery (for brands that is sold on Tyrehood website only)

35. Tyrehood Zone App AI Diagnosis Access

Access only for Tyrehood customers who have purchased at least 6 tyres online (without requesting for zince removal before balancing), and purchase a battery (in which brand listed at https://www.tyrehood.com/en/batterybrands.php). Access is only for (at least) 2 years. (Access can be continued by purchasing new tyres and battery).

36. Arrangement under inclement weather conditions

Tyrehood will stop all the work when Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued. Tyrehood will stop all the work one hour before Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 is issued (according to HKO guideline on that day). Any customers who have been arranged to change tyres on that day will be delayed to the next working day or until a lower Tropical Cyclone Signal is issued (No. 3 or below). If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 is going to issue at 2pm on that day, Tyrehood will stop all the work on that day.
