Tyre marking labels

Confused with the tyre sidewall labels and markings? Below are some of the explanations for your tyre sidewall label or wordings.
If you are planning to change just ONE tyre, it is imperative to take note of your sidewall label marking as tyres with and without the markings may have different tread pattern.
Tyre with special marking does not imply it is only suitable to the specific vehicle brand. Likewise, specific vehicle brands do not necessarily require tyre that matches specific marking.

AR

Tyres with "AR" marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on Alfa Romeo, or the tyre is specially designed for Alfa Romeo, or approved to install on Alfa Romeo (for continuous warranty or vehicle insurance if required)

A0

Tyres with "A0" marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on Audi, or the tyre is specially designed for Audi, or approved to install on Audi

Tyres with * marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on BMW, or the tyre is specially designed for BMW, or approved to install on BMW

T0, T1

Tyres with "T0", "T1" marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on Tesla, or the tyre is specially designed for Tesla, or approved to install on Tesla.

"T0" "T1" marking tyres normally comes with noise insulation cotton to reduce noise while driving.

LR

Tyres with "LR" marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on Land Rover, or the tyre is specially designed for Land Rover, or approved to install on Land Rover.

MO

Tyres with "MO" marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on Mercedes Benz (Mercedes Original), or the tyre is specially designed for Mercedes Benz (Mercedes Original), or approved to install on Mercedes Benz (Mercedes Original).

MO1

Tyres with "MO1" marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on Mercedes Benz AMG model, or the tyre is specially designed for Mercedes Benz AMG model, or approved to install on Mercedes Benz AMG model.

MOE

Tyres with "MOE" marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on Mercedes Benz (Mercedes Original Extended) as run flat tyre , or the tyre is specially designed for Mercedes Benz as run flat tyre, or approved to install on Mercedes Benz as run flat tyre.

N0, N1, N2

Tyres with "N0", "N1", "N2" marking on the sidewall. This indicates the tyres are Originally Equipped on Porsche, or the tyre is specially designed for Porsche, or approved to install on Porsche (for continuous warranty or vehicle insurance)
