Repair and modification of the vehicle, customization becomes easy with 3d printing. Vehicle manufacturers 3d printed auto parts for
demo, prototype, and even as repair parts to the vehicle. Tyre manufacturers 3d printed tyres to replace the traditional peunmatic tyres.
Tyrehood hopes to catch up with the advancement with the use of 3d printing.
*3D printing parts is not a separate service to non Tyrehood online customers.
Most of the after market rims have a wider central space, which leads to a gap in between upon installation on the vehicle.
This results in vehicle instability and steering wheel vibration when drive above a certain speed.
Some customers experienced slight vibration while driving. Some do not realize that there is a need for central hub in their after
market rims. Their issues are resolved by 3d printed central hub to fit into the rim.
If an automotive battery located at the front of the vehicle, it ususally do not have a pipe connect to the battery(except Benz)
However, the appearance of hybrid vehicle changes vehicle internal design. Most hybrid had a 12V car battery located at the rear
or below the passenger seats. The battery location normally comes with a black color pipe connecting to the car battery.
(If you have an original OEM car battery, you can find the pipe connected to the battery as well).
More than one Tyrehood customers' Toyota Prius Hybrid batteries did not have the pipe connected with the battery (refer to
upper left image). Upon replacing a new one (with PT GS 24R), the pipe terminal is too big to insert into the battery(refer to
lower left image).
By utilizing 3d printing and created an adapter to connect the pipe and the battery. The issue is resolved.
**It is imperative that the pipe is connected to the battery. If the pipe cannot fit into the battery, you should not install
that battery.
(Likewise, all other EU manufacturerd vehicle is equipped with the pipe at the battery area needs to connect the battery)
Not too sure about the other models of BMW, but the 2007 BMW 523i aircon airway which is located at the bottom part of the
front seats have no cover to block any dust or rubbish.
Normally there should not be any rubbish dropped into the aiway, but I just get them covered up for insurance.
The latest models of BMW should have a cover on top as far as I remembered.
